Our LaMontagne and In Good Taste fundraiser forms are due in on October 14th and the pickup for those items will be on Monday, December 1st from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Also, our upcoming trips are in the final stages of planning. You can expect a Trip Deposit / Confirmation form coming home in the next two weeks! That form will be due near the end of January with a non-refundable deposit to confirm your participation in the upcoming band trips. Please check your calendars carefully!

Wednesday, December 11^th – 6:30 p.m.

École White City School 

Due to conflicts with the musical at Greenall and other school events between the area schools, the Winter Concert has been moved to Wednesday, December 11^th at 6:30 p.m. at ÉCOLE WHITE CITY SCHOOL. This earlier time is necessary as the high school concert at Greenall will follow this concert at 7:45 p.m., so if you have students in both programs, you will be able to attend both concerts! We have changed venues due to Christmas concert preparation at Pilot Butte School.

Grade 6 First Performance – Thursday, November 14th – 7:00 p.m. – École White City School

Our First Grade 6 Performance is almost upon us! Our Grade 6 band members are excited to share a short concert with you to demonstrate how far we’ve come in just a few months! We’ll be performing a range of tunes to show you what we’ve been learning!

Since our concert uniform shirts are not ready just yet, simply dress in something nice (wedding / church / event wear – all black is also fine!).

Also, we’ll be have a short reception following this concert, so we would ask each family to bring between 6-8 goodies of some sort. Please ensure they are completely NUT FREE, as we do have allergies in the band. We will be supplying coffee, tea and juice.

Band members should plan to arrive around 6:40 p.m. to get organized before we perform! We should be done before 8:00 p.m.!

Grade 7 Optimist Festival Performance – CANCELLED (Thurs PM)

Due to poor road conditions and many bus routes currently cancelled, the Grade 7 performance this afternoon is CANCELLED.

We will see how the weather situation progress in terms of our performances scheduled for tomorrow morning and afternoon.

Mom’s Pantry Orders Pickup – Monday, March 25th

Mom’s Pantry orders for 2013 will be available for pick-up on Monday, March 25th starting at 5:30 p.m. at Greenall Highschool!

Mom’s Pantry Order forms will be going home over the next few days! You should get yours very soon!

We are also able to order ONLINE through http://www.momspantry.ca/. Once you’re there, you need to create an account first. Then, login and click on Fundraiser Orders. You then need our Order Number and Passcode:

You can then order online and the orders will be processed for our group! Easy!

Extra blue orders are available from Mr. Popoff at any time.

January / February Calendars – 2012

Hi there! A few important dates are coming up! Our annual Jazz Auction Info packages just went home this week, so please check for a large envelope! Items are due on January 31st, to allow for sorting and labelling time before the auction.

Our 20th Annual Sweet Sounds Jazz Auction and Coffeehouse is on Thursday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. at Greenall High School. Please feel free to come out and enjoy the sounds of the various jazz bands in our school areas and a dessert! We’ll have many great items up for auction. This is our largest yearly fundraiser, so please mark it on your calendars!
